This lady right here (Amber) is notorious for creating nicknames and using acronyms for just about everything. One day, I mentioned to Alice that even though the acronym was DITR, I just wanted to call it DIRT. All the time.

Alice remembered a conversation she’d had with Kendall where Kendall has been thinking of Harry Potter (HP) and Diamond in the Rough (DR) and HP and DR made her think of Herp Derp. Since DERP sounded an awful lot like DIRT, and through our own amusement, Derp became the official nickname for Diamond in the Rough. So! If you see mentions of Derp from us, or all around the site, you know what we mean <3
